Wat Rong Seua Ten (Blue Temple)
Chiang Rai Blue Temple or Wat Rong Seua Ten is located in Rong Suea Ten in the district of Rimkok a few kilometers outside Chiang Rai. Its striking blue interior is also reflected through the murals and a large statue of the Buddha. The paintings are reminiscent of the style.
Wat Rong Khun (White Temple)
Is a unique temple that stands out through the white color and the use of pieces of glass in the plaster, sparkling in the sun. The white color signifies the purity of the Buddha, while the glass symbolizes the Buddha’s wisdom and the Dhamma, the Buddhist teachings. Designed by Chalermchai Kositpipat.
Wat Huay Plakang
You will see an amazing pagoda and inside the Guan-Yin Buddha. A Buddhist monumental 9-stories chedi style temple, located in the Rimkok area, known for its spiritual design and its ornamental details. Residing in the temple is an outstanding crafted wooden statue of Guan-Yin Bodhisattva with a soothing surrounding.
Baan Dam Museum
Baan dam is the unique creation of national artist, Thawan Duchanee. Baan Dam is an eclectic mix of traditional northern Thai buildings interspersed with some outlandish modern designs varying shapes and sizes dotted around a peaceful garden.
Singha Park has a colorful flower garden. Great weather with rich soil exhibits blooming flora throughout the year. Singha Park provides a large variety of fun activities and has numerous beautiful sceneries for the most memorable photos.
This is the famous location where the borders of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar meet in the middle of the Mekong River. The Golden Triangle was formerly known as the world major producer of opium but now, totally drug-free, a popular tourist attraction known for picturesque views.
Choui Fong Tea
Choui Fong tea plantation is the largest tea producer in the Province. The plantation is located on an area of over 1000 hectares, of which two are currently open to visitors. The newly opened recently and has been popular with tourists. Located in Mae Chan District, Chiang Rai.
Doi Tung Royal Villa
Doi Tung is located in Mae Fa Luang District. The route winds through beautiful scenery with many interesting sites including the Doi Tung Palace, The Mae Fa Luang Garden and Akha and Muser tribal villages. In addition to scenic lookouts, the most notable attraction is the Phra That Doi Tung Holy Relic, an old religious site atop the mountain.
